Syed Manzoorul Hasan, born on April 20, 1965, in Bahawalnagar (South Punjab), is a distinguished scholar and writer. His father was the spiritual head of a local Qadiriya Sufi monastery. He earned degrees in Political Science and Islamic Studies, including an M.Phil from GC University Lahore. He studied under renowned teachers like Muhammad Nazr Sahib and became a student of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi in 1990 at Madrasah Farahi. Influenced by scholars such as Dr. Khurshid Rizvi and Dr. Syed Sultan Shah, he has actively participated in educational and literary projects. He currently serves as editor of the monthly Ishraq magazine.
