The Study Circle Program – Sohbah

Transform your study circle into a guided study of Islam.

What is Sohbah?

Sohbah provides a flexible and meaningful learning experience designed to help young Muslims grow through the company of knowledgeable mentors at GCIL, a structured Islamic curriculum, and the companionship of like-minded peers (their friends and cousins).

How does This Program work?

  1.  Parents form a group of students (5-7 people) while maintaining a narrow age range (it is recommended that the age difference be no more than 2-3 years).
  2. One parent representing the group should reach out to GCIL and identify the need.
  3. GCIL will discuss the curriculum, content, program length, and program start date and time with the parents.
  4.  Parents would confirm the details.
  5. Parents register their children in the program through the GCIL registration webpage.
  6. GCIL will assign a teacher and share the curriculum and details about the program.

How long will this program be?

Flexible, but it should be a minimum of 3 months.

When will the classes be conducted?

It is flexible, but it will depend on the student and teacher’s locations.

    What will be taught?

The curriculum is not fixed. It is adapted to suit the needs, level, and interests of the group.

    $65 per student per month
