Since it’s not possible for humans to come up with a method of distributing their wealth to their heirs based on absolute justice, God has provided us with a detailed law of inheritance in the Quran.

In this series of videos Hassan Ilyas explains how the Quranic law of inheritance has been understood in the past, challenges faced when applying that understanding in real life scenarios, and how Quran’s law can easily be applied in letter and spirit under all situations without any difficulties.

Hassan Ilyas

Hassan Ilyas is a fellow and a research assistant at GCIL. Hassan comes from a well-respected scholarly family of Mawlana Ishaq Alvi and Allama Muhammad Tahseen. He completed his six years of formal Islamic education (Dars-e-Nizami) at a Madrasah where he came across the Farahi school and the works of Mr. Javed Ahmad Ghamidi.
